Have you heard the saying, "MARCH COMES IN LIKE A LION, LEAVES LIKE A LAMB" ?
For the month of March, D.I.V.A.s held that saying to be true! We were not playing any games this month at all. We were definitely about the business of being PURPOSEFUL. Grab a seat and a glass of wine as we take you on an adventure of MARCH MADNESS D.I.V.A. STYLE:
Starting March 8, 2015, a few of our D.I.V.A.s and "lil DIVAS in training" showed up to Leimert Park in L.A. to volunteer with #HashtagLunchBagLA
Lots of Lunches were made, which means lots of people on Skid Row (Downtown, LA) did not miss a meal on March 8th!
We're teaching our youngest DIVAs the importance of giving back to those who are less fortunate.
It was a good day indeed! For more information on #HashtagLunchBagLA please visit https://www.facebook.com/hashtaglunchbag?fref=ts" target="_blank">http://https://www.facebook.com/hashtaglunchbag?fref=ts
On March 22, 2015, the D.I.V.A.s set out on a mission to get together for their third brunch at Pip's in L.A. The theme of this brunch was March Madness, in honor of the NCAA teams playing. Each D.I.V.A. in attendance was asked to come representing their favorite college team in hopes of taking home the coveted WINNERS PLATE! Take a look at all the teams that were represented:
Who says ladies don't love sports?
Grambling University in the house!
USC in the house!
UCLA in the house!

All four teams were represented also!

And the winner of the plate was...... *DRUM ROLL*
It was a wonderful day indeed! Pip's has wonderful food, live music, and the best Sangria's in town. For more information, please visit
On March 27-28, 2015, a few of us D.I.V.A.s were back at it again, being PURPOSEFUL!
Often times, we take for granted the many abilities are priviledged to have and use on a daily basis. There are some who are not as fortunate as us. With this in mind, the D.I.V.A.s set out to Sponsor and volunteer with a wonderful organization known as Djanai's Angels Special Needs Family Prom, a fundraiser for Inclusion Club House. The theme of this year's Prom was The Wizard of Oz. Anoush Le Foyer Lounge & Banquet Hall was transformed into a magical kingdom known as Munchkin Land!
Our D.I.V.A.s Michelle, Jammie, Tominiko, and Bershawn showed up Friday night (27th) to help set up for the next day
They helped prepare the backdrop that would be used for the photos taken of the attendees

This table was so adorable! The kids loved it!!!!
On March 28th, D.I.V.A.s Nakitta, Jammie, Michelle, and Nickie headed out to volunteer at the event! When we walked in, it was truly magical. Guests arrived on the Yellow Carpet, the Yellow Brick Road that is!
The DI.V.A.s stopped on the yellow Carpet with the Tin Man, Dorothy and Toto, The Scarecrow, and the Witches
The beautiful Linda Hall is the founder of Djanai's Angel's. We were very honored to meet Linda and be a part of such a special event.
Stefanie Boggs-Johnson was on hand to sign copies of her book, entitled I See You Little Naomi, with proceeds going to Djanai's Angel's. She is pictured here with her husband and Pooch Hall (Linda's Husband)
